Who can join DEM?

DEM is open to all pre-health tracks such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, optometry, psychology, and more regardless of major!

Basic Requirements Include:

Be a full time undergraduate student at NSU

Have an expressed interest in a pre-health field

Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or greater

How many students are recruited?
​
The number of students per class can vary and there is no set number. But, if you're interested in DEM, then shoot your shot!

How does Recruitment work?
​
During recruitment week, you must attend information night and a minimum of two recruitment events. Then, fill out an application to be considered for invite only night which is held on Friday. If selected for an interview, it will be held on the upcoming Saturday of that week.

When does Recruitment happen?
​
Recruitment week is held during Fall and Winter semester typically in September and January. All information can be found on the DEM instagram or on the Recruitment page of our website.
