Hey everyone, Mansi here! As an incoming sophomore, I have taken the last few months to reflect on the events that have shaped my freshman year and the very first thing that comes to mind is DEM. As a member of the Xi class, I started my journey alongside a class of supportive individuals, but quickly grew to gain lifelong friends and a family through the Alpha Xi Chapter. Being Pre-med is a long journey that is sometimes hard to navigate among school and extracurriculars, but DEM has bridged that gap providing me to countless opportunities to supplement my career while making the most amazing memories whether it has been at formal or the many laughs I have shared with my fellow actives talking about our days late at night. Recruitment week is always such an exciting time of the year because we get to meet so many new faces and show them the same loyalty, dedication, friendship, and support that was shown to us actives when we were recruiting.
