Past Philanthropies
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida (RMHC) provide homes for families with children who are being treated for critical conditions, such as cancer or heart conditions. ∆EM found the opportunity to participate in RMHC's Adopt a Room program by fundraising to sponsor a room for the families that stay there. Adopting a room provides families with 2 double-size beds, a full bathroom, and storage for clothing, access to laundry services, television, play areas, a fully-stocked kitchen to enjoy family meals, and access to email and internet to remain in touch with loved ones. Each room sponsorship is $5,000 for three years, payable in full or in yearly payments. RMHC recognizes this gift by honoring donors with showcasing a plaque outside of the room throughout the duration of the sponsorship. Other opportunities for involvement with RMHC include the Adopt a Meal program or volunteering within a house. Ultimately, ∆EM is blessed with the opportunity to support an organization that prioritizes stewardship, diversity, and philanthropy, as the main focus is on strengthening families and their children.
