Delta Epsilon Mu is not just a professional pre-health fraternity, but it is also a family dedicated to fostering excellence through our pillars of Friendship, Loyalty, Dedication, and Support. The Alpha Xi Chapter, established in 2018 at Nova Southeastern University, is committed to nurturing the aspirations of pre-health students by providing them with the resources, mentorship, and camaraderie needed to thrive in their academic and professional journeys.
Being a part of DEM since the start of my undergraduate experience has been nothing short of transformative. Upon my initiation in my first semester of undergrad, the unwavering support and invaluable guidance from my fellow siblings have been instrumental in shaping my academic career. Through DEM, I have found a sense of belonging and formed friendships that I am sure will extend beyond our time at this university.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being in DEM is the opportunity to meet and connect with unique and inspiring individuals with whom I may not otherwise have crossed paths with. Each member brings their own experiences, perspectives, and strengths to our fraternity. I have been fortunate to learn from their diverse backgrounds, gaining insights that have broadened my understanding of the healthcare field and in return, I have had the privilege of doing the same for others in addition to offering support, guidance, and collaboration.
