A Letter From Our Recruitment Chair
- Kavya Ambati
Whether you’re new to Nova or someone very familiar with our school, DEM brings a certain familial attachment that you will rarely find elsewhere. Surrounded by people who have most likely gone through the same obstacles and successes that you have experienced, you are ensured to find your people here. That is what drew me to our fraternity.
Last year, I came in as a freshman and I can safely say I was scared of what was to come. It isn’t easy to leave home and expect to find a support system immediately, and yet that was what DEM became for me. For many of you, the Delta Epsilon Mu recruitment process will feel like a daunting experience. There are many lessons you will learn, many mistakes you will make, and so many new people that you will come across.
You will love every second of it.
Regardless of if you find your home with us, participating in recruitment week itself will bring a flood of connections straight to your door. You could meet your future coworkers, roommates, mentors, and best friends. I hope that DEM can be for you what it was for me, and I hope you will give it that chance. Put your best foot forward and get excited; We are going to have some fun.
With a whole lot of heart,
Welcome to Recruitment!
