A Letter From Our Recruitment Chair
- Joshua Yue
No matter if you are new to NSU or someone who already knows what it is like to be a student here, DEM offers something that is rarely found anywhere else. The opportunity to be surrounded by people who have the same goals and likely have gone through the same challenges and successes as you. That sense of community is what drew me to this fraternity.
Last year I came as a freshman not knowing where I would fit in. It was difficult and overwhelming to enter into a new environment, but somehow DEM became my found family.
Recruitment week may feel intimidating at first, trust me I get it. You will learn so many lessons, step outside your comfort zone, and meet so many new faces. But by the end of the week, you will look back loving every moment.
Regardless of where your journey leads, participating in recruitment week will introduce you to people who might just become your future classmates, roommates, coworkers, mentors, and closest friends. I hope you can give yourself the opportunity to experience everything DEM has to offer.
So prepare yourselves and get ready for the mission ahead.
All the best,
Welcome to Recruitment!
